Capital Football, in partnership with FFA and the ACT Academy of Sport, also runs a successful team in the Westfield W-League (the national women’s league competition). This team, Canberra United, reached the Grand Final in the first year of the competition and were semi-finalists in season two, which concluded in December last year.

The club is run ‘in-house’ where we are responsible for appointing players, coaches and support staff as well as all media and marketing and generally making sure the whole thing runs as smoothly as a top flight team should do.
