State Teams Overview

Capital Football’s State Team Program provides players the opportunity to represent Capital Football at Football Federation Australia’s National Championships. Representative squads are selected through a series of open trials available to all age eligible players registered with Capital Football affiliated clubs. Players may also be invited to attend trials by Capital Football coaching staff if identified during regular league matches.

State squads will also be involved in training sessionsin the months leading up to the championships, and may also participate in tournaments such as the Proctor Park Challenge in Bathurst and Kanga Cup.

Representative players are required to pay a fee for their participation in the tournament which includes all travel, accommodation, meals, uniforms and medical costs. Any additional costs such as tournaments will also be charged to participants.
