Secondary Schools Coach Apprenticeship Scheme
The Secondary Schools "Next Gen Coach Apprenticeship Scheme" was recently launched with a pilot course and the program is now available to all Secondary Schools in the ACT and surrounding districts.
The Course is conducted in four modules;
- Coaching Practice
- Practical Applications
- Small Sided Games
- Practical Assessments
Each course can be tailored to fit into existing curriculum and school timetables and can be conducted over multiple class sessions totalling 3-5 hours.
A qualified FFA instructor leads each course. Students are provided with a course text and will receive FFA Grassroots certification.
