Peter Maybury

Peter was appointed as Vice President of Capital Football in March 2011 after being on the Board for the past eight years as a Director with primary responsibility for finance and related matters.  His input has enabled Capital Football to implement a sound business financial framework which has helped to create a strong financial position for the organisation.

Peter has been an accountant in the public sector for 18 years and he became involved in football through his son's involvement in the former Academy program. He was a key person in supporting the amalgamation of Soccer Canberra, Women's Soccer Canberra, ACT Futsal and Soccer Canberra Referees into one entity which has resulted in significant benefits for the football community in Canberra.
